Rowers Receive State Pennant

Launceston Grammar has been named Champion School as a result of the rowing students’ performances throughout the Tasmanian Club State Pennant series.

In this his first year as Head of Rowing for the School, Max Rowan said he was immensely proud of the hard work and dedication of the School’s squad.

“Winning the Champion School Pennant is an honour and there have been many schools before us who have won the Tasmanian Rowing Council pennant,” says Max.

Director of Sport, Adrian Finch said that Max is taking the rowing programme forward in leaps and bounds and providing a pathway to high performance by our rowers.
