Launceston Church Grammar School has partnered with Teach. Make. Create and Nature Be In It to host the workshop, Creative Outdoor Learning.
Art I Nature I Play
We know children thrive when we bring the curriculum alive through art, nature and play.
This taster workshop will inspire you to step outside.
We will:
- Discuss the foundations of a high quality Nature play program
- Share plenty of practical ideas to breakdown barriers to outside learning
- Understand why reasonable risks taking supports healthy childhood development
- How to link students learning with inside the classroom, outside the class door and beyond the school gate
- How a hands-on, artful process to learning enriches your classroom
- How this all links to EYLF and the Australian Curriculum
