Our Launceston Grammar Boarders, led by Boarding Captain Olivia John, created a fun-filled video of life at Launceston Grammar for Australian Boarding Schools Association National Boarding Week. An inspiring video to kick off a week of fun and activity around the campus, we hope you enjoy it too.
Of the highlights of Boarding Week, bringing friends home for tea was popular with both day and boarding students and dinner with Scotch Oakburn College boarders was a great success.
This was an opportunity for the boarders to spend some time with their friends in the communal spaces with their boarding buddies. Friendships span across the Grades as they settle in for fierce battles on the Fußball table, tumultuous Table Tennis Tournaments and stories and laughter being swapped over a friendly game of pool.
In the Girls Boarding House, the indoor hammock swing and leafy feature wall are a great space to burn off steam and hang out before settling in to complete homework for the day.
We put our friendly rivalry with Scotch Oakburn College aside for an evening as boarding students and staff came for dinner in the Launceston Grammar Boarding House. A great time was had by all, with students keen to meet others sharing similar schooling experiences.
