As the end of the school year grows closer for our Grade 12 students, the vast possibilities for the next step after school stretch ahead of them. For one of our recent graduates, a Gap Year with the Navy was on the cards after twelve years at Launceston Grammar School.

Mia Findlay (2021) recently graduated as a Naval Midshipman at HMAS Cresswell at Jervis Bay on 15th June 2022. Mia was also awarded the Governor General’s Cup for demonstrating outstanding ability, teamwork and sportsmanship whilst on the new entry officer course.  Mia has also been elected captain of sports for the college.

Congratulations to Mia on what has clearly been a successful choice after Grade 12, we wish you very well in your future endeavours.
